What is the mission of the PTA?

The St. Catharine School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is committed to strengthening the student experience and promoting educational success through positive partnerships with teachers, parents, administrators, and the community at-large. The St. Catharine School PTA pledges to carry out all of its activities with a demonstrated commitment to the core tenets of the Catholic faith.

What is the purpose of the PTA?

The PTA provides a forum for meaningful parent/guardian participation in their child’s education at St. Catharine School. The PTA plans and provides co-curricular programs, as well as fundraising efforts and activities, to help advance the mission of St. Catharine School.

Who is the PTA?

At St. Catharine School, all parents and guardians are considered to be part of the PTA.

Any parent or guardian who wishes to get more involved with PTA programs and activities, and share their time and talents more deeply with the SCS community, should contact 2022-23 PTA Co-Presidents, Stephanie Bradley and Stefanie Dugan, at presidents@stcatharinespta.com. The PTA is always looking for volunteers to support its efforts, and getting involved is easy!

The PTA will post opportunities for additional involvement in planned activities and fundraising events throughout the school year, and your participation is greatly appreciated. No matter what your interest or time availability, there’s a volunteer opportunity for everyone!

Why get involved with the PTA?

Getting more involved with the PTA, to the extent possible, is a win-win for students, volunteers, teachers and the greater school community – everyone benefits!

What do the PTA fundraising efforts support?
One of the major goals of the PTA is to provide financial support to enhance the SCS learning environment and to enrich the student experience for all SCS students.

Through a wide range of fundraising activities, the PTA helps to fund co-curricular programming, technology enhancements, community outreach efforts, teacher appreciation gifts, school marketing materials, and more!

To help fundraise for the PTA, or to make a tax-deductible gift in support of the PTA, please email fundraising@stcatharinespta.com or you may donate online today by visiting our school store below. Every gift, no matter the size, contributes to the strength and success of St. Catharine School, and your loyalty to the Lakers means so much!
